Deep Veins Thrombosis

Home / Deep Veins Thrombosis

Deep Veins Thrombosis (DVT) refers to a condition where blood clot forms in one of the deep veins. Usually, they occur in legs, thighs, pelvic, calf, but they also occur in other body parts like in the arms, chest, or somewhere else, but they are less common.

If DVT left untreated, it could cause life-threatening complications like pulmonary embolism.

DVT can be managed with angiogram or angioplasty of veins. We also provide facilities for emergency blood clots removal in acute DVT
